The version upgrade 2.2.0 of the famous football title Electronic football 2023 everything is ready to go down in November. EFootball 2023 Publishers, KONAMI, recently provided information on when and how the update will affect players’ access to the list of players, managers and game content of their eFootball 2023 Mobile accounts. Recently published specs on how the eFootball 2023 carryover update will arrive and how it will affect those elements can be found on the official KONAMI website
However, many questions have been raised by users since then The KONAMI website did not clarify some things to the fans. In this eFootball 2023 carryover guide, we will discuss in detail the transition from version 2.1.0 to 2.2.0 update and try to address some of the questions that are raised by users from time to time.
The official release date of the version update 2.2.0 has not yet been announced. Anyway, going from previous editions KONAMI it usually leaves the carryover guide two months before the scheduled update. So we can assume that the update will be released on any Thursday of the month of November.
The good news is that most of the game items, settings, base teams, players, and eaters carry over. Below is the list of game assets which are all ready to be moved into the next version 2.2.0:
Items reported
Non-transportable items
- Game specific and User settings such as Online match history, B.aLance Sheet And Comment data.
- Premium Goals running right now (as the update is likely to drop after these goals expire).
Profile picture / Avatar: Now that we have been among all the in-game items that will be transferred, let’s talk about the fate of a newly added in-game feature, eg. Avatar. From eFootball 2022 days, you can select your own portrait favorite legendary player as avatar or profile photo. After the update, if the particular Legendary Player Card worn as an avatar is eligible for carryover, your avatar is likely to be carried over. Otherwise, your profile photo will be reset to default values.
Since the fate of all game items has been discussed, let’s now talk about what happens to your base team and player cards after the version 2.2.0 update.
Base team
Now, in this section of the discussion, there are two possibilities. Either your base squad will be available in the game after the version update or it won’t be available.
- Your favorite team is available in v2.2.0: Your base squad will be transferred after the update and no changes will be made to your set squad in this scenario.
- In v2.2.0, your favorite team is not available: You will be prompted to choose a base team once logged in after maintenance.
Players
Again we have two scenarios when it comes to your player cards:
- Player Cards Signed After Version 2.1.0 Update: All Player Cards signed after the above period will be carried over after 2.2.0 update.
- Player cards signed before the version 2.1.0 update: This in turn opens up two new possibilities. Your player will be eligible for a carryover or will not be eligible for a carryover. Konami is set to compensate for players who will not be eligible for carryover after the update.
Let’s try to decode the next scenario by taking as a reference every type of player card available in eFootball 2023.
Standard player cards
- Your player card can be transferred: It will be reported as is, i.e. only as a parent card type.
- Your player card cannot be transferred: Your player card will be offset with the following elements:
- GP prize equivalent to the amount required to sign that particular Standard Player Card in the version upgrade 2.1.0. Say for example Robert Lewandowski is exchangeable with 1.100.100 GP in the version 2.1.0 update. If you are not eligible for a carryover, you will receive the equivalent GP amount as compensation.
- A set number of level training programs to match the player’s experience level.
Featured player cards
- Your player card can be transferred: It will be reported as is, i.e. only as a parent card type.
- Your player card cannot be transferred: Your player card will be offset with the following elements:
- GP prize equivalent to the amount required to sign the Standard Player Card version of that particular player in the version upgrade 2.1.0.
- A set number of level training programs to match the player’s experience level.
Trendy Player Cards
- Your player card can be transferred: It will be reported as is, i.e. only as a parent card type.
- Your player card cannot be transferred: Your player card will be offset with the following elements:
- GP prize which is equivalent to 1.5 times the amount required to sign the Standard player card version of that particular Player in the version update 2.1.0. Let’s say for example the Standard Player Card version of Robert Lewandowski is exchangeable with 1.100.100 GP in the version 2.1.0 update. If you are not eligible for a carryover, you will receive 1.5 times the equivalent GP amount as compensation, or 1.65 million GP.
- A set number of level training programs to match the player’s experience level.
Legendary Player Cards
- Your player card can be transferred: It will be reported as is, i.e. only as a parent card type.
- Your player card cannot be transferred: Well, here’s some good news for you. If your Legendary Player Cards are not eligible for carryover, you will receive an equivalent number of Bargain Offers, each granting you a Legendary Player Card, which is an identical replacement.
Epic Player Cards
As Epic Player Cards were recently introduced to the game right after the 2.1.0 update, all Epic Player Cards will carry over as is, after the update of version 2.2.0.
Highlight player cards
- Your player card can be transferred: It will be reported as is, i.e. only as a parent card type.
- Your player card cannot be transferred: Your player card will be offset with the following elements:
- GP prize which is equivalent to 1.5 times the amount required to sign the Standard player card version of that particular Player in the version update 2.1.0.
- A set number of level training programs to match the player’s experience level.
There to summarize the non-transferred players

Highlight player cards | 1. 1.5x GP rewards needed to sign the Standard Player Card version of the specific card in the version upgrade 2.1.0. 2. A set number of training level programs. |
Managers
Report managers
The coach’s team and league will be changed to reflect those listed on the “Managers eligible to carry over”Page in this situation. His coaching affinity and skill in the team’s playing style, on the other hand, will remain unaffected.
Non-reporting managers
The manager will be changed to GP assets in this scenario. The amount of GP required to sign the manager is based on the value reported in the “List of managers”Prior to version 2.1.0. Konami is likely to release the list of base teams, players and managers who will not be eligible for a carry-over by mid-October.
1. Request your inbox items before upgrading
You must ensure that you claim all unclaimed items from the game’s inbox prior to the version 2.2.0 update. Even though Konami has stated that all unclaimed items from your inbox will be transferred, there is no confirmation on the same. Therefore, we suggest that you state that they are safe and do not take the risk of losing those rewards.
2. Do not release your unwanted / duplicate player cards
As we said earlier, it is likely that Konami will announce the names of player cards that are not eligible for carryover by the end of October at the latest. Don’t release any of your Players until then, even if you don’t need that Player. Suppose that particular player you want to release turns out to be a non-transferable asset.
In that scenario, you will lose the Compensation premiums if you release them. If it’s a Legendary Player Card, don’t even think about releasing it now as it can earn you a Legendary Offer if it falls into the non-transferable category.
3. Do not release any managers at this time
The same theory is applicable here. Don’t release anyone to make sure you don’t miss out on compensation premiums.
4. Monitor the expiration date of your Nomination Agreements and eFootball Points
While both of these assets will be carried over in the version 2.2.0 update, they may expire during the large-scale maintenance scheduled prior to the update. This is because these resources have their own specific expiration time.
So, keep an eye on their expiration date and use them to redeem in-game items before the version 2.2.0 update if you see that they are approaching expiration.
Q: When will the “Player Cards Eligible for Retrieval” and “Coaches Eligible for Retrieval” be announced?
A: Pages for “Player cards eligible for carry-over” And “Managers eligible to carry over Will be available when they are ready. In mid-October 2022 everything will be disclosed on the official website.
Be aware that, as of the date of the announcement, any player or manager who is not part of v2.2.0 (those who are not listed on the above pages) will no longer be able to sign in-game.
Q: Will the game controls change completely?
A: Any changes to game controls will be announced as game news and on the official website. We just have to wait for a confirmation from the Developer House.
Q: Will the remaining contract term for players be carried over?
A: Yes, it will be reported.
Q: Will player disqualifications be carried over?
Well, here’s some good news. The v2.2.0 update will reset the suspensions, allowing you to play games with these people immediately. Once the suspensions are lifted after the update, make sure you behave yourself so that you don’t face another ban / suspension.
